The observation

A brochure gets visited.
A website must fill the pipeline.

Many websites are beautiful, fast and well ranked. Then the journey stops at the form. The symptoms look the same from one company to the next.

Requests land in an inbox

The form sends an email to a generic address. Nobody knows who handled it, or when. A meeting request sometimes waits several days for an answer.

Nobody knows where leads come from

Without UTM conventions or source tracking, LinkedIn, Google Ads, organic search and trade shows all blur together. The marketing budget gets decided on gut feeling.

The website stops where the sale begins

Marketing counts visits and forms, sales counts deals. In between, no figure links a page view to a signed contract.

A high-performing B2B website does more than get seen

Building a professional website brings together strategy, user experience, content, technology and data. Its role goes beyond presenting the company: it attracts the right audiences, captures their intent and passes it on to the sales teams.

On HubSpot Content Hub, the website and the CRM share the same database. Every form, download or conversation creates or enriches a contact record, with its source, its page views and its lifecycle stage. A successful website is measured in opportunities and revenue, not just in visits.

A new website, the same limits?
Let's scope before we code.

Independent scoping identifies functional, SEO, CRM and organizational risks before they turn into development costs.

From visit to deal

From the visit to the signature.
No link left to chance.

A website that generates deals rests on eight links. If one is missing, the chain breaks and leads get lost. We handle them all, in this order.

01

The brief

Business goals, targets, journeys, content, site structure. Every page gets an audience, a message and an expected action.

02

The build

Theme, reusable modules, multilingual and technical SEO on Content Hub. A foundation that marketing keeps alive.

03

The capture

Forms, CTAs, landing pages, downloadable content and chat. A conversion suited to each level of maturity.

04

The sources

UTM conventions and campaign naming shared by the whole team. Every lead arrives with its source and its campaign.

05

The tracking

Tracking code, events, attribution and a GDPR-compliant consent banner. You measure without forcing the visitor's choice.

06

The handoff to the CRM

Properties, lifecycle, scoring, assignment to the right sales rep and notification. Response time becomes visible.

07

The steering

Dashboards from traffic to leads, from opportunities to revenue. You know which pages close deals.

08

Continuous improvement

Tests on pages, forms and calls to action, plus new content. The website improves on what converts.

What HubSpot records

One click on your website.
One action in your CRM.

Here is what we configure so every visitor action becomes useful information for the sales rep. The exact rules, score thresholds, timeframes and teams, are set with you during scoping.

The visitor…HubSpot recordsWhat gets triggered
Arrives from a LinkedIn campaignOriginal source, UTM parameters, first page viewedThe visit is linked to the campaign in the attribution report
Downloads a white paperContact created or updated, content downloaded, consent“Lead” status, content sent, nurturing sequence
Comes back to your offer pagesPage views, visit frequencyThe score rises. At the set threshold, the contact becomes an MQL
Asks a question in the chatConversation linked to the contact recordRouted to the right team, response tracked
Requests a meetingContact form, associated companyAssigned to the relevant sales rep, notification and dated task
Is qualified by the sales repMoved to SQL, deal createdResponse time measured, deal visible in the pipeline
SignsAmount, signature date, original campaignRevenue is traced back to the source and the pages viewed

The website captures, HubSpot qualifies and assigns, the sales rep decides. One database, from first click to contract.

Our method

From scoping to go-live.
Then from measurement to improvement.

A dedicated project manager follows you from the first workshop to go-live. Nothing is developed before the mockups are approved in writing.

01

Understand · Think

Take the brief

Workshops set goals, targets, journeys, content and site structure. We also define what a qualified lead is, and who handles it.

02

Model · Think

Design and approve

Wireframes and mockups are approved in writing, together with the capture plan and the tracking plan.

03

Build · Build

Build and connect

Theme and modules on Content Hub, multilingual, technical SEO and redirects. Forms, consent, scoring and assignment are configured in the CRM.

04

Prove · Run

Measure and improve

We track traffic, leads, opportunities and revenue, then prioritize tests and content based on their impact on the pipeline.

At delivery

A form tested in front of you.
A lead received by the right sales rep.

Acceptance testing follows a shared file: you log the issues, we fix them and update each line. The sign-off report is signed once every result has been demonstrated, not before.

  • The website is live and matches the approved mockups
  • An editor creates a page by duplicating a template, with no developer
  • An old URL redirects to the right page
  • Visitors switch from one language to another on translated pages
  • A test form creates the contact with its source and owner, and the sales rep is notified
  • Dashboards show leads by source and by campaign

Key takeaway

A website is designed as journeys.
Not as pages.

A HubSpot website is judged by what it brings sales reps: leads that are sourced, qualified and handled on time.

We start from your goals, your targets and your definition of a qualified lead, then build the chain that leads there.

  • Scope goals, targets and journeys before design
  • Build Content Hub modules your teams can master
  • Capture with forms, CTAs and content suited to each stage
  • Track every source with UTMs and compliant consent
  • Route every lead to the right sales rep, with response time tracked
  • Steer from traffic all the way to revenue

FAQ: building a website on HubSpot with Copernic

What is the difference between a standard website and a website built on HubSpot?

A HubSpot website runs on Content Hub, a CMS that shares the same database as the CRM. Forms, page views, downloads and conversations are recorded directly on the contact record. There is no connector to maintain between the website and the CRM, and a visit can be linked to the deal it generated.

Do you need to already use HubSpot to build your website?

No. We support companies already using HubSpot as well as those rolling it out with their website. In that case, properties, lifecycle and assignment rules are scoped at the same time as the site structure, so the website feeds the pipeline from go-live.

How do you know where each lead comes from?

We set UTM conventions (source, medium, campaign) and shared campaign naming with you. The HubSpot tracking code records each contact's original source, and attribution reports link sources to signed deals. The cookie banner respects the visitor's choice, in line with GDPR.

How do website leads reach the right sales rep?

Each form feeds the properties needed for qualification. Lifecycle stage and score move the contact from lead to MQL, then to SQL. An assignment rule designates the sales rep, by industry, size or region, who receives a notification and a task. Response time is tracked in a dashboard.

How long does it take to build a website?

The timeline depends on the number of page templates, custom modules, languages and integrations. Count on a few weeks, specified after scoping. Development starts once the mockups are approved in writing: that is what protects the schedule.

Will my teams be able to manage the website on their own?

Yes. We build reusable page templates and modules: an editor creates a new page by duplicating a template, with no developer. Publishing rules (forms, UTMs, naming) are documented so autonomy does not break measurement.

What deliverables do you receive at the end of the project?

The requirements specification and site structure, the website built on HubSpot with its editable templates and modules, the mapping of old and new URLs, the tracking plan (UTMs, events, properties), the acceptance testing file and the sign-off reports for mockups and acceptance testing.
