Case study · Tissus Gisèle
Digital transformation in the textile industry with HubSpot
Twenty years on IBM AS400, and different methods from one department to the next. Copernic rolled out HubSpot at Tissus Gisèle, connected it to the AS400 and trained the teams on site.
- Goal 01. Improve the customer experience.
- Goal 02. Optimize sales efficiency.
- Goal 03. Centralize CRM data and put it to work.
The project
A robust system.
But not built with teams in mind.
Tissus Gisèle (TGL) has been making bed, bath and table linen in the Vosges for 160 years. Nearly 100 employees, consumer and business customers, and a sales team dedicated to serving them.
Context
More than twenty years on IBM AS400: a robust tool, but complex for non-technical teams.
Challenge
Align sales and marketing on shared processes and give everyone a unified view of customers.
What we did
On-site workshops, custom HubSpot CRM, AS400 connection with Popsink, in-person training.
Result
A flexible, shared CRM environment, standardized processes and fast adoption by the teams.
The challenge
Three workstreams.
One goal: the customer experience.
Standardize processes
Over the years, each department had built its own methods for tracking prospects and customers. Clear stages and a shared vision were needed.
Simplify access to customer data
Teams needed an intuitive tool to view interaction history and cross-reference information between sales and marketing.
Support the change
After years on the AS400, the arrival of HubSpot could be unsettling. Everyone needed help understanding the tool and making it their own.
A legacy tool to keep.
A modern CRM alongside it.

Our support
Listen to the field.
Then build with it.
On-site workshops and scoping
Sales, marketing and management brought together at Tissus Gisèle’s offices: challenges, existing processes, everyday pain points, customer journeys mapped and priorities set.
A custom HubSpot CRM
Pipelines, lists, properties and workflows configured for CRM, marketing automation and reporting. A simple foundation for every team, ready for upcoming campaigns.
Training and follow-up
In-person sessions to ease concerns, then ongoing follow-up: first campaigns, optimized workflows, fine-tuned settings.
AS400 and HubSpot
Orders stay in the AS400.
Customer relationships live in HubSpot.
The AS400 keeps handling quotes, orders, inventory and logistics. With our partner Popsink, Copernic designed a reliable integration:
- Data synced in real time
- History brought into HubSpot
- Data models aligned between the two tools
- A unified customer view for marketing, sales and operations

The results
Less heaviness.
More collaboration.
The project laid the foundations of Tissus Gisèle’s digital transformation, across strategy, technology and people.
- A flexible, collaborative CRM environment, replacing a heavy, siloed system.
- Standardized sales processes, for greater efficiency.
- A tool built for each role, easy to get to grips with.
- Fast adoption, driven by strong hands-on support.
In their words
A team that stays close.
Tissus Gisèle tells the story.
One year on, big strides
“We want to thank Camille […] for their support throughout the rollout of the HubSpot CRM, the interface customization and their various training sessions. The adventure with Copernic is not over, but one year on we have already taken big strides! If you want close, flexible support and advice at any time… This is the team for you!”
